Duties
Credwell Building Surveyors have the role of working with senior members of the team to provide technical advice in all matters relating to building regulations, the National Constructions Code (BCA), relevant Australian Standards, fire safety, accessibility and much more.
You will be working on a variety of projects from tendering stage to post construction stage which includes site inspections of buildings under construction and existing buildings, meetings with clients and design teams as well as some administration tasks related to technical works.
Qualifications/Experience
We are looking for someone with some or all of the following:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of the Building Code of Australia.
- Tertiary qualifications (or currently studying) in building surveying, construction management or similar would be preferred.
- Wide exposure to a variety of projects.
- Proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
Salary Package
We envisage an extremely competitive salary package that includes a bonus structure that is the envy of our industry. We are looking for the best in our industry. Also on offer is a 9-day fortnight plus an extra 5 days of annual leave per year on top of the normal 20 days. That’s a total of 51 days off per year.
