Design and Building Practitioners Regulation

Design Compliance Declarations

A Design Compliance Declaration is a declaration from a registered Design Practitioner that they have the qualifications, skills, knowledge, competence and experience to prepare the design and the design contains the necessary level of detail, and is in a form, that can be relied upon to build a compliant building.

A Design Compliance Declaration will be required for any work in a Class 2 building, with some small exceptions.

The declaration may rely on specialist advice, such as NCC/BCA, Access and Section J/ESD reports.

Credwell has the experience and expertise to provide this specialist advice, with the backing of our own Accreditations and Registrations.
